L-O-V-E

This year we found little mailboxes at Target and Deke and I have had fun finding all sorts of little prizes and things to put inside of them each day for the kids.  Whether it has been valentine's word scrambles or heart shaped bubbles or felt mustaches we have all had a lot of fun with it.  The morning of the mustaches poor Hudson had someone putting one on him left and right.
One of my favorite traditions is  making homemade Valentine's for people.  We spent a couple days two hours each night letting the kids go to town.  They always do such cute things, I love to watch them make them.  However, I will be happy to not see construction paper or glue sticks for a least a week.
We went and got some shoe boxes and each kid decorated one up to hold their Valentine's.  Hunter made his look like a vending machine and used realy candy wrappers.  It was a creative idea and I thought he did a great job.
We spray painted Em's red and then she glued seeds all over it and colored a strawberry shortcake to put on top.
Ave wanted a Tangled tower so we attempted one with an oatmeal can.  She pretty much did the whole thing herself like Hunter.  It turned out cute.
Emma drew a family picture with "boys on one page and girls on one page".  Don't you love the little drawing of Hudson? Oh and the fact that me, her and Ave are all holding hands, she told me.  Yep there's a lot of lovin going on already at this house :) :)
