Every February Glendale has a chocolate festival. Vendors with crafts and other fun items and chocolate everywhere. They had pretty much any chocolate thing you could want. Like a giant nut covered banana the size of your head or a huge piece of chocolate covered cheesecake.
Honestly watching the girls share their banana was nothing short of hilarious. They stayed within inches of each other and would go back and forth bite by bite. They were very serious about eating it. At one point deke and I had to tell them to take a break and stop devouring it so quickly.
My cheesecake on a stick. It was covered in chocolate but it was too rich for me so I scraped the chocolate off. I love cheesecake!!The kids loved watching the different vats of chocolate pouring into molds or coating things like pretzels.
Mint chocolates, giant chocolate bars, taffy, caramel apples and all sorts of other sweet treats. At the end of the tour they had pretzels going down a little assembly line getting coated and then weighed and packaged. The kids got to have a taste that they had been waiting for during the entire tour.
Hunter couldn't wait to dig into his chocolate dipped jalapeno. He loves spicy stuff and was able to eat about half of it which made him so proud of himself. I think we are all sugared out for the next month.
