Setting up the artificial tree takes time, the lights always seem to be a pain, but putting on the ornaments is definitely the part the kids all wait for. They each have their favorite ornaments that they look forward to putting on the tree and a specific way that they arrange them. This year it was fun to let Hudson join in. We turn up the Christmas music, fill the tree with ornaments and then get pillows and blankets and lay underneath it and read a christmas story. It's beginning to look like Christmas in our little neck of the woods.
