Christmas Balloon glow festival

Over at San Tan Village they had their 3rd annual Christmas balloon festival.  It was our first time going and we couldn't believe how many balloons they had.
There were eighteen balloons including one shaped like a bumblebee, a butterfly and even a beaver.  We walked around and looked at all the balloons.  When they would pull the cord for the flame the kids would all get excited especially Hudson.
The beaver balloons was undoubtedly everyone's favorite.
Probably because the owners let the kids sit on the edge of the basket and then they lit up the balloon.
They had tons of booths to walk around with crafts, food, home decor and other fun things. Then free hot chocolate and Santa riding in on a convertible.  The kids weren't sure how they felt about that.
A half hour before the festivities were over they deflated the balloons and started setting up the rope lighting for the "glow in the dark skydivers."  They had a giant circle of lights and we all sat around the perimeter.
A plane flew overhead and suddenly we could see a flash of light and then another and another and another.  They twisted and turned above us with almost a sparkler type trail following behind each of them in the sky.  As they started dropping in altitude you could also see their uniforms which were completely lit up with lights.  Never seen anything like that before, it was neat.  Soon the first one came parachuting down and landed in the circle.  His lit up uniform, parachute and goggles, almost made him look like an elf from Prep and Landing coming to deliver something from Santa.  The poor next guy missed the circle completely and just landed safely out in the dirt field.  The next two came in close together. I love all the different fun new things going on out in the community this Christmastime.
