On his birthday.

Hunter wanted to go to the LEGO store on his birthday and get a cup to fill from the pick a brick wall for a new project he is working on. We headed to Chandler mall and they had the exact pieces he needed.

 Also on your birthday you get to make a mini figure of your choice and so he took his time digging through a zillion different LEGO heads, bodies and accessories until he had made the perfect Professor Quirrell from Harry Potter.

 Ever since he was little Hunter has loved meatballs and meatloaf.  I honestly don't know of any other kid that asks their mom if she can make meatloaf for dinner.  Deke had the morning off but then had to get to work so we went and had the Swedish meatballs at IKEA so Hunter could have some meatballs.

 We came home and we brought all of the LEGO's out and dumped them on a giant blanket and spent the ENTIRE day playing LEGO's.  The entire day until I had to stop to make dinner.  It was so so so much fun.  We watched a Harry Potter, then Deke got home with a Three Musketeers bar with a candle in it since it is Hunter's favorite candy bar and we all sang.  One of the big requests Hunter had was to stay up until the minute he turned eleven which was 10:55pm, so he hung out with Deke and I and played Minecraft until he did.

As we sat together, we opened the blinds and watched the electrical storm that was going on outside and enjoyed the rain.  It was so perfect because the weather was exactly like the night he was born.  Time goes so fast.  Happy Birthday bug, make eleven great!! WE LOVE YOU!!! Mom and Dad
