***Bike wash

The kids grabbed up their bikes, we put out a bucket with sponges and scrub brushes and they played the day away....literally.
Hudson dubbed himself the official "scrubber" and the kids would pull their bikes up to the front of the wash and say "Wash please!" he would start going to town with a scrub brush in each hand.
Then through the wash they would go.....
After a while I heard Deke and Hunter laughing about something, when I turned around to see Hunter pushing Deke on the piano dolly down the driveway.  It was fun and went pretty fast though you had to have someone help steer you.  The kids loved taking turns pushing mom and dad on the dolly through the wash.
If Hudson wanted to go through we had to shut off the water momentarily because he refused to go through if it was splashing him.  If the water was off he would march right through smiling wide.
By mid afternoon we figured he had had enough time to ease into it and we made him start going through with the water on.  He would do it and he didn't cry but it was hilarious to watch him make his way down the driveway with his eyes mostly closed and his hands up trying to shield.  Soon he was over it and going through it over and over again like the big kids.
He put his scrubbers in the seat of the Ariel car and would take them out to scrub a bike and then toss them back in and head off through the wash.
I am sure our water bill next month is going to be through the roof since we ran it all day but it was so worth the fun we had.
We played and watched a beautiful AZ sky turn into a beautiful sunset.
Happy kids and one happy mom and dad :) :) Happy Fourth!!!!
