The other day we took the kids over to see the progress on the Gilbert temple. We hadn't been by it in awhile and we were so amazed to see that they actually have stone up on the top now. It is a pretty tall temple and it is beautiful. It has been so neat for us to take the kids to watch it be constructed in each different stage. 
They had a sample of the stone at the vistors site for the kids to see up close and get to touch it. Hunter wanted to know how they had made the carvings and Ave was fascinated by the fact that the walls were going to have "stones that sparkle inside of it." 
Almost two years ago we had the opportunity to take the kids through the Gila Valley Temple which was a very special experience. We can't wait to get the opportunity to take the kids through the open house of the Gilbert temple early next year.

You should see how it looks now! I drove by on Thursday and they have one whole corner of the Temple put up! Ron, Echo, and I can't wait for it to open so we will have a Temple less than ten minutes away!
