this week
Well this past Friday was the Father's and Sons campout which Hunter starts talking about and looking forward to at least two months in advance. This year they drove up with a car load of guys from the ward and headed just outside of Payson. I made the traditional "puppy chow" that Hunter wants to take with him and has ever since he was two. The kids love the part where they get to shake it up in the bag with the powdered sugar. They had a blast between marshmellows, campfires, paintball, three legged races and other father son team competitions. There was also a stream running through the camp which all the boys really enjoyed. They both came back dirty, sunburned and completely happy. I know they both really look forward to this and have a blast every year. Then GG stopped by for a visit and to play with the kids. She brought them each a cute stuffed animal for Easter, some new books, bubbles and of course some candy. The kids were having a lot of fun with the bubbles this afternoon outside. Ave was blowing them for Emma which was thoroughly entertaining her and Ave. Once it got too hot I made Emma come inside so she resumed her "watching" spot from the window.
