When we made our list of things to do in Vegas, trying out frozen hot chocolate at Serendipity quickly went on the list. After we went through Cesar's palace we decided everyone could use a little treat so we headed over to Serendipity. We sat outside and enjoyed the fun atmosphere of the restaurant and the gorgeous weather.
We ordered a frozen hot chocolate and debated over getting one or two. Once they brought it over adorned with straws and we saw how big it was, we were glad that we had only gotten one.
We decided the littlest of the bunch should get the first taste before the older kids devoured it. He took one sip and then another and another. We had to pull the straw away just so he would stop drinking and take a breath for a minute :) "I like that chalkit pip dink" he told us and leaned in for more. We cracked up when we passed it across the table to the eagerly awaiting older siblings and watched all three of them huddled together all drinking away at the same time. It was super sugary and very rich. The kids all loved it and chowed down. While we were glad that we tried it, neither Deke or I were big fans. It was not as good as I had hoped. We sat and talked until all four kids had brown milk mustaches and the bowl was empty.
