Circus Circus

The next day we decided to spend most of the day at Circus Circus.  After breakfast we headed over to the Midway and let the kids spend some time playing carnival games.  As we walked around checking out all the games the kids saw a couple games that had tons of different minions as prizes.  We gave them each some money and let them start choosing which games they wanted to play.  They all were on the hunt to win a minion.  Hunter and Ave had a blast playing games but ended up not winning anything.
Emma decided for her last game that she wanted to play a game where you have to toss a ball into a basket and not let it bounce out. Hunter and Avery had used their last few dollars on this game and all their balls had bounced back out of the baskets.  Hoping to help her win one, Deke and I offered to help her or throw it for her.  "No, I want to do it myself" she said and then as if it were the easiest thing in the world tossed it right in and won a minion.  Since it was Halloween time she wanted the mummy minion.  "What!?!" Hunter and Avery kept saying "That's not fair!"  Deke and I reminded them that she had won on her own fair and square.  Em couldn't stop grinning she was so proud of herself.
Once Hudson saw that Em had a minion he was not happy so the older sibs played a horse racing game and won him a little minion of his own.
There at the Midway they have circus acts that perform every half hour so we would play games for awhile and then head over to watch one of the shows.  Watch the "Flying Angels" perform their trapeze acts was pretty cool.  I wish Deke and I could've gone to a Cirque de Solei show that would've been really neat.  The kids were glued the entire time...
I don't think Hudson took his eyes off of them the entire time.  After the show was over Avery said, "Mom that was awesome! I don't think I want to be a teacher anymore, I want to be in the circus!" So Avery :) :)  We ate some lunch and then headed over and played at the arcade for awhile.
Then caught another couple of shows...
