Well once Hunter decided to be Harry Potter we decided to make it a family event and all dress up together. The last time we did family costumes was when Ave was eighteen months and we were all Pirates. It was so much fun and we were wanting to do it again. Deke, Hunter and I would be wizards but what about the girls? We would make them be cute little pink and brown owlets. After searching online for any owl costume that looked feminine at all the only result was one from Pottery Barn for $49.99.... yeah probably not. So instead I hit JoAnn's and started checking out patterns to modify and create my own costumes for Ave and Em. I can't wait to see how they turn out.
