Peterson's donuts

We love trying new places to eat and so we were totally excited when mom suggested that we head to a place called Peterson's for a donut breakfast one morning.  You really can't go wrong with donuts, especially gigantic ones.  I have never seen larger donuts in my life.  The maple bars we got were 9 1/2 inches long and about 3 1/2 inches across.  The pictures don't even do justice.
It was a simple mom and pop style shop with one half of the store having a window across it where they could display all their delicious varieties.  Pretty sure the kids spent a good twenty minutes trying to make their selections from all the options.  This picture of Emma staring into the window pretty much sums up their overall impression...
The little ladies chowing down...Emma wanted one with green sprinkles on it for "clover day" coming up.
Hudson got the most regular sized glazed donut they had and it still was huge.  That was one happy baby....that is until it was gone and he was told he couldn't have anymore.
Hunter was more than pleased with his apple fritter that was the size of his head.  It was a good way to start off the morning, we will definitely be going back.
