the one store that I had spotted early on in the day that I was super excited about going into was this fabric store. Four floors of wall to wall bolts of fabric, with ladders going across the entire store. It was amazing, it reminded me of something from a book it was so quaint and had some of the most beautiful fabric I had ever seen.We spent a few hours in here looking at all the fabrics, buttons, ribbons etc. etc. that they had. This place was definitely my favorite shop of the day. They had a little cutting table right by the window where again you could look out on the city. It was so cool, I imagined what it would be like to live in a big city like this and have a job working in a neat shop like this one. We went into some really neat art galleries and checked out some beautiful artwork. We also went to a designer wedding dress shop that was incredible. It was fun to see all the tall buildings with their brick and fire escapes. Went and checked out Chinatown. It was fun to get to hear Kimbre have conversations with some of the shop owners. By this time of the day we were all literally soaked but we continued to shop all day until we closed the place down, freezing and hungry we headed to get dinner and find our hotel.Had to include this scary picture of a daycare sign that Mar and I saw walking back to the carBelow the sign this was the entrance gate....scary much?We found an awesome restaurant not far from the hotel after driving forever trying to grab a parking space and had what tasted like the world's best pizza after walking all day. Then we grabbed some goodies and treats and headed over to our hotel for hot showers, watching shows and staying up too late having fun.
