So we decided that the fourth was a perfect time to do our watermelon eating contest on our bucket list. We got a nice sweet watermelon and cut it up. Each kid had three slices and we gave dad five to make it a little more fair.
When we said go, dad and Hunter instantly took off chowing down. Emma slowly started taking little mouse bites not totally getting the concept.
Avery who is super competitive was trying to hurry and keep up with Hunter but kept getting slowed down by the fact that she couldn't stop giggling :) :)
Hunter stayed quiet and focused and beat everyone. Emma was then confused as to why she didn't win. She was only about halfway through her first piece. I think Avery is looking for a rematch :)
