It has become a tradition. To gather fireworks up and shoot them off in the front yard. We are limited to only certain ones that are allowed but it doesn't matter. Every year our neighbors all come out and bring their fireworks and we all sit together and shoot them off and watch them together. It has gotten to where the kids will go get their friends from the neighborhood to join us and Deke will spend the next hour or so handing out sparklers and helping the kids take turns joining in the fun. I love to watch him with all these neighborhood kids around him all holding theirs up waiting for him to light it. Deke just grinning huge as he directs all the kids on which one they'll be setting off next. I'm not gonna lie it is very attractive to me. He is so good with them, they all love him and think he is so much fun. Such a good man. Now matter what fun new fireworks we get though the kids always just have a blast running around the street with their sparklers. Look forward to this every fourth!!
