Yesterday we enjoyed having our good friends Kerry and Erin come over with their kids to spend the afternoon with us. The kids swam in the back yard in our play pool and we had a yummy BBQ.
We visited and let the kids play until fireworks time, then headed out to the driveway with chairs and snacks. 
It is so neat that we can watch the fireworks from our driveway and not have to fight the crowds and the traffic to see them. We had been discussing how much we loved patriotic music at this time of year and how nice it would be to have some music to go along with the fireworks. When suddenly we hear, "O Christmas tree, O Christmas tree" and we look over and Hunter is watching the fireworks intently and singing his little heart out, oblivious to the fact that we are all listening to him. Wrong season there buddy, but leave it up to Hunter to provide comedic relief and make us all laugh.
